Cotie Lancaster is a Chickasaw basket maker who has been making round reed baskets for 4 years. She currently manages the Chickasaw Cultural Resources team and loves to talk about the Chickasaw Culture. She has taught dozens of classes on traditional basket making for several years and will walk participants through the process, step-by-step.

Join Cotie Lancaster to learn the art of Chickasaw Basket Making. This class is a beginner level round reed basket class and participants will learn the single wall technique. The class will take place at Exhibit C Gallery in Bricktown (located at 1. E. Sheridan Ave.), Friday, October 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sign up and register at the conference registration desk in 21c Museum and Hotel by Thursday, October 25. The cost to participate in this session is $20 per person, which covers the cost of all supplies.
