Curriculum Summary

Students will identify characters, plots, and settings while exploring Aesop’s Fox Fables. Students will perform a guided drama and use personal and partner space to convey meaning about characters, relationships, and mood. Students will also use skills related to voice, character, and imagination to create characters.

Materials Needed: Books or online stories with Aesop’s Fox Fables, online access, floor space, paper, markers, materials (fabric, markers, paint, cardboard, household items, etc.) for simple costumes, props, and/or scenery.

D.PR.2: Select, analyze, and interpret artistic work for presentation.
D.PR.3: Convey meaning through the presentation of artistic work.
D.CR.1: Generate and conceptualize artistic ideas and work.
