The Teaching Artist Roster is a resource list of Oklahoma artists who have been vetted by the Oklahoma Arts Council and are available to schools and organizations for arts education and learning programs. Each artist accepted to the roster has demonstrated artistic and instructional abilities, and is familiar with curriculum and instructional strategies.

A residency with Pam might include techniques and materials such as precious metal or clay. Participants might create jewelry or sculpture, with a focus on the creative process as a way to explore and expand their artistic journey.
Travel to Japan and China through Rosemary can offer participants a multi-cultural experience in art. Participants might work to produce a weaving, fiber basket, batik, mosaic, sumi painting, quilt block design, beading project, paper lantern or origami work of art.
Janey Carns Crain
In a residency with Janey, students are able to see, to touch and to use all means of learning, while creating original ceramic pieces, drawings or sculptures while they learn how their artwork directly relates to other curriculum areas.
Anita Fields' residencies provide a safe learning environment that nurtures self-discovery and the creative process. Students will learn hand building and pinch techniques, and shape clay forms based on individual ideas and creative expression.
Patricia Herrera Morgan
Her residencies offer a wide choice of media in visual art and handmade crafts, which include sculpture, drawing, painting, printmaking, and papermaking and basket weaving.
Mixed Media & Sculpture. As an arts facilitator, Lee has worked in school districts, libraries, alternative sites, recreation centers and DHS sites.
Nick Lillard offers a course specifically for elementary students. In this class, children will receive instruction on refining their aesthetics and art vocabulary, and they will learn what to do once confronted with the opportunity to show work in a group setting. Three additional courses offered by Lillard include ceramics, mixed media, and metal fabrication.
Dora Obuobisa is an inspiring artist with unique talents in leatherwork, batik, tie and dye, and traditional African crafts.
John Rhoades enjoys helping students develop their artistic expression working with clay.
G. Patrick Riley
His delightful and inspiring residencies offer a wide range of experiences from mask making to student designed and executed large-scale paintings while he brings to the students a rich understanding of native cultures.
She used her energy and passion to help students believe in themselves and to believe that they have something to say through their art.
Richard Ray Whitman
In Richard Ray Whitman's residencies students learn specific techniques for using a variety of art media, including painting, collage, photography and three dimensional art forms.
