Major Grant Support Application Preview
For your convenience, the Oklahoma Arts Council has provided a “preview” of
the Major Grant Application. Please remember that to actually submit an application
or a final report, applicants must login to
the e-grant system.
Application Sections
Part 1- Organizational Profile – submitted electronically through e-grant
Part 2 - Project(s) Information – submitted electronically through e-grant. In addition to the organizational information the application may consist of up to five (5) projects. Each separate project must fall under only ONE programming component. The most significant type of activity within the project determines the programming component.
Programming Components
- Community
Arts Programs
- Community Arts Programs support the advancement of cultural and economic development of Oklahoma through community based arts activities such as exhibitions and performances. For additional information visit the Community Arts Programs criteria .
- Arts Education in Schools
- Arts Education in Schools supports arts activities or resources above and beyond those typically made available by the school, that develop students’ skills and knowledge in dance, drama, music, visual arts, traditional arts or creative writing, and that are taught by qualified arts instructors. - Arts Learning in Communities
- Arts Learning in Communities supports arts instruction, classes and workshops for participants of all ages, abilities and life circumstances where a predominant amount of the participant’s time is devoted to the creative arts process and excludes arts education in the schools. Part 3 – Project Budget Information – submitted electronically through e-grant. Budget information needed is located in the Programming Components.
Part 4 - Support Material – Mailed to the Oklahoma Arts Council on the day of e-grant submission. Each application requires THREE (3) duplicate 3-ring binders.
- Organizational Support Material – determined by the type of organization submitting the application. See your type of organization to determine the required organization support material.
