Norahua means “friendship” in Tarahumara, an indigenous language of Northern Mexico. The Norahua Mexican Folkloric Dancers of Oklahoma, adorned in colorful authentic costumes, combine color and the festive spirit of Old Mexico through a series of folk dances to folkloric music form 15 different Mexican state: Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, Baja California, Sinaloa, Jalisco, Chihuahua, Veracruz, Yucatan, Chiapas, Durango, Guerrero, Tabasco, San Luis Potosi, Tampaulipas, and Danza Azteca.
