Krystall Barnes, a new artist in Durant, OK, studied art at Montana State University. Her work has been in numerous local and national shows and is part of collections around the U.S. She has won several show awards, and is a signature member of the Montana Watercolor Society. Her two passions are drawing and painting.

“My drawings and paintings reflect my love and respect for nature, which developed in my childhood years spent in the beautiful forests and beaches in Montana and Washington State.”

Arts Learning Goals:

To learn drawing and watercolor techniques.
To learn the basic principles of art.
To learn the basics about color, and color mixing.
To help students see the limitless possibilities of color.
To help students approach something new without the fear of making mistakes.
