New Oklahoma Law Requires Electronic Grant Payments
Action is required to receive future grant payments
A new state law passed in May 2011 requires that "Payments dispersed from the State Treasury shall be conveyed solely through an electronic payment mechanism."
The State of Oklahoma is converting to electronic payments and is requiring all Oklahoma Arts Council grant recipients to provide specific banking information in order to receive future grant payments.
In order to meet the new requirements, grantees must email the following information to the Oklahoma Office of Management and Enterprise Services (formerly the Office of State Finance) at Vendor.EFT@osf.ok.gov. Action should be taken as soon as possible to ensure receipt of future grant payments.
- Oklahoma Vendor Number (10-digit number on your grant invoice)
- Vendor Name (the legal name of your organization on file with the IRS)
- Payment Address (must include your 9-digit zip code)
Have you moved recently? Make sure the Oklahoma Arts Council also has your current address! Contact us at okarts@arts.ok.gov or (405) 521-2931 to update it. - Contact Name (authorized representative)*
- Contact's Email Address
*The authorized representative must be someone from your organization who is authorized to receive instructions to access the State online portal to enter bank account information and other procedures necessary to effect electronic payments.
